Membership News & Dues

NACVSA “Founding Member” Applications now being accepted ( click here for application ). Click here to read the NACVSA President’s Open Letter to all CVSA® Examiners

BREAKING NEWS: CVSA® Examiners no longer need to pay $75 or more to join generic VSA organizations whose instructors, training, certification and recertification are not recognized by the NITV®. ALL CVSA® Examiners are invited to become Founding Members of the NACVSA. Starting January 1st, 2010, the NACVSA is offering a host of new benefits to our members, with low annual dues of only $45. If you join the NACVSA before January 1st, 2010, you will receive a high-quality certificate designating you as an NACVSA Founding Member, as well as an NACVSA Lapel Pin and Membership Card. The NACVSA only recognizes the training and technical standards set by the NITV, and will only use NITV-certified instructors for CVSA-related training courses. Training and technical standardization is crucial to all CVSA Examiners, especially when called to testify before a court of law. This was apparent in a recently decided Federal Court case (click here) where the testimony of a Federal Parole Officer who is an NITV Certified CVSA Examiner was crucial to the favorable outcome of the case for both the CVSA and US Government. The NACVSA is the only nationally recognized association that specifically supports only CVSA Examiners, and offers a Professional Certification Program. NACVSA also actively monitors legislation in ALL 50 states to protect the members of the voice stress analysis profession. No other VSA-related organization provides this full range of services to its members. To read the NACVSA President’s Open Letter to ALL CVSA Examiners click here
